A much tougher game against the Dragons.
They are obviously trying to stay in the lowest level, as all of their shooters and strong D came out to play against us, where the week before they were HALF the team. They kind of did us favour in showing some weak spots we might have to work on, but we still showed more grit, skating control, and temperament against (as always) an over anxious team. Nice work on the comeback gang. Sophie finally came out to play with a great big smile and a few shots too.
As I shook hands with the Dragons, their droopy faces meant they really wanted to beat us, and that like most other teams, they just didn't have as fun much as we did.

A tough game indeed but I much prefer this level of play as opposed to our first two games. I very much enjoyed their sour faces as we shook hands, unlike the Daley Byers who were very gracious in defeat. I'm looking forward to our next game against them.
A big welcome to Sophie for joining the team. I do hope we haven't scared her off with all the locker room talk.

I don't think that it's the locker room talk that scares the girls off..I think it's the lack of towels!! ;o) Just kidding
